About Us
The Baden-Baden FreeVis LASIK Center opened in 2005.as a modern and specialized center for refractive surgery. Our highly qualified team of ophthalmic surgeons offer laser vision correction such as Femto-LASIK and iLASIK as well as lens implant and replacement procedures. The FreeVis Lasik Center Baden-Baden is jointly operated by the FreeVis LASIK Center Mannheim and the Eye Clinic at the Klinikum Baden-Baden.

Team
Eye laser procedures are performed by Professor Michael C. Knorz, MD and Bettina Jendritza, MD at the FreeVis LASIK Center Mannheim.
Lens implant and lens exchange procedures are performed by Professor Frank Faude, MD in Baden-Baden.
Frank Faude, MD attended medical school in Freiburg, Breisgau and Adelaide, Australia. He performed his residency in ophthalmology at the University Eye Clinic of Heidelberg. From 1994 to 2000, Dr. Faude was the Senior Physician at the University Eye Clinic Leipzig. He defended his postdoctoral thesis in 2000. Dr. Faude worked as the Chief Physician at the Eye Clinic Offenburg for three years, then in 2005 was appointed as Extracurricular Professor of Ophthalmology at the University of Leipzig.

At the Main Railroad Station take bus #201, 215 or 217 towards "Stadtmitte " (Center City). Exit the bus at the stop "Schweigrother Platz". Board bus # 206.
