About Us
The Eye Clinic Wolfsburg-Fallersleben, located in the heart of the historic old city, consists of two large complexes: the Eye Surgery Center and the FreeVis LASIK Center Wolfsburg-Fallersleben. The Eye Clinic is founded on the American "hostel" concept with a clinic-hotel complex that offers patients an ideal treatment environment for for ambulatory procedures as well as those requiring an overnight stay. To ensure the best possible care for our patients, quality assurance is the center of our efforts.

Christian Heuberger, MD Founded the Eye Clinic Wolfsburg in late 1993, Dr. Heuberger has performed more than 25,000 surgical procedures on the eye and specializes in Excimer laser surgery. He is a specialist in all refractive surgery procedures as well as other surgeries on the anterior and posterior eye (cataract, glaucoma, pars plana vitrectomy). Dr. Heuberger attended medical school in Düsseldorf, and completed his residency in ophthalmology at the Eye Clinic Braunschweig. He gained further ophthalmology experience in the USA, Africa and Switzerland. |

Ira Heuberger, MD Dr. Ira Heuberger joined the Eye Clinic in Wolfsburg in 1995 following her time in Trier as a senior ophthalmology physician. She performs refractive lens surgery procedures and she specializes in plastic, cosmetic and reconstructive procedures, strabismus surgery and procedures on the anterior part of the eye (cataract, glaucoma). Dr. Heuberger attended medical school in Mainz and Trier, and studied in the USA. |

Tobias Hudde, MD Prior to joining our ophthalmology team in 2005, Dr. Hudde was senior physician at the "Zentrum für Augenheilkunde" in Essen. He attended medical school in Regensburg and Munich, and completed his residency in ophthalmology in Düssendorf and Essen. Dr. Hudde undertook a research internship at the Moorfields Eye Hospital, London. He qualified as an ophthalmologist in 1999. |

Coming from Hannover or Berlin, take highway A2 to the highway connecting point Wolfsburg-Königslutter, then take highway A39 towards Wolfsburg.
Once on A39, take the exit "Fallersleben" (first exit after Wolfsburg Centrum).
Once on the federal road, make the first possible right. At the end of the street, you will see the first brown sign for the "Augenklinik" (Eye Clinic). Please continue following the brown signs, which will guide your way to our clinic.
